The only commitment that merchants must make is to honor the card for a period of one year.

What type of discount must the merchant give?
A merchant can provide any sort of discount that they want. It can be anything from a percentage off, to a buy one get one free deal.

Where can the SaveMore Card be used?
All participating merchants throughout New York State honor the Savemore cards. This differs from other discount programs, in which you need to purchase books for specific areas.

What other features does SaveMore Card provide?
By honoring the SaveMore Card, merchants will have increased visibility by virtue of being on the SaveMore Card web site. In addition, there are add-on options that merchants will be able to take advantage of for a minimal fee. Among these options, merchants will be able to go on line and change their promotional information that they have listed, any time they want, directly from their browser, without the need for programming knowledge. Other options include the ability to make available online menus (which can be easily updated in the way just mentioned), as well as taking online reservations and orders via email. Participating Cardholders will be able to buy gift certificates, SaveMore Cards, print out coupons, and more!

Will the participating merchant be included in any of Savemore Cards Promotions or advertising?
Yes, all our participating merchants are listed on our web site, also in the brochure that comes with the SaveMore Card. There will be weekly updates on our website announcing new merchants and various fund-raisers that are going on throughout the state.

Can participating merchants have their own web pages on SaveMore Card's web site?
Yes, this will be one of the add-on options available to participating SaveMore Card merchants.
